We will help you obtain your mandatory Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Private Security Bureau (PSB) Level II Guard certification.
On-the-job training is provided!
Starting pay — with no security guard experience — is $12 to $14/hour. (Negotiable with experience.)
All you need to get started is:
- high school diploma or GED
- working personal cell phone (for calling and texting)
- working personal vehicle with valid registration, current vehicle insurance, and valid driver’s license
- Texas DPS PSB Level II Guard certification
Security guards must be able to:
- read, write, and speak English clearly
- lift 10lbs minimum
- walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
- and other duties as assigned
Most job sites are night and weekend shifts that average 8-12 hours per shift. There are opportunities for overtime.
